The Night-
The night can feel like a velvet thing
When falling off to sleep
Or the night can leave you shivering
Oh pray my soul to keep
And a bed that is soft and quiet
Can blanket you from fear
Of a night that's so dark and quiet
There could be 'Something' near
Then snuggle up warm. Close safe those eyes
I'm sure that you will find
'Something' that creaked when the night wind sighed
Was only 'Something' in your mind

Waiting-
A window can be such a lonely place
When waiting for your friend to come home
People pass by, but never drop in
The room feels quiet, and you're alone
I think of all the good I felt
When I was with him yesterday
The clock ticks forever upon the wall
Hurry home friend, hurry home to play

Things I Like-
I like to feel the furry belly of a leaf
And remember how soft it felt
On frosty mornings when puddletops are ice
I like to crunch them before they melt
I like to catch raindrops on the tip of my tongue
Or feel a snowflake land on my nose
Making snowmen, and snowball fights are fun
I like winter, when it comes, and am glad when it goes
I like to befriend the caterpellar
The one on which I was about to step
Then find him a tasty place to rest
And visit while he takes a nip
I'll lie back and watch a cloud all day
Until I yawn and start to doze
Or blow a dandelion when it opens white
Or use it to tickle my nose
I like to befriend the butterfly
The one I just know I never knew
But then I'll 'think-think-think' the rest of the day
How he already knew I'm 'The Pooh'

Busy Paws-
When my paws are busy doing good
I know they can't be being bad
Cause if I've made a Feeling hurt
It always makes me feel sad
Piglet keeps his cupboards straight
Kanga's flowers are trim and prim
Rabbit's garden's clean and neat
Until Tigger bounces in
So when I work I love to work
To sweep some leaves just makes my day
When I know my honey pot is full
It makes it much more fun to play

The Wood-
Something about my forest wood
Makes me feel right at home
I'll go exploring with my friends
Or even all alone
I feel a part of everything
Here in my hollow tree
With Piglet, and Owl, and Eeyore-
Even the honey bee
I love to drink tea with Rabbit
Kanga and Little Roo
See worlds with Christopher Robin
And bounce with Tigger too
I love my Hundred Acre Wood
And here I know I'll stay
'Till stars stop twinkling in the sky
And friends all go away

Happy-
It's so easy to be happy
Takes hardly a fluff-filled thought
Joy's a pretty butterfly
That is wanting to be caught
Trying to think to deep's like
Being stuck in Rabbit's hole
I'm just kind to all my friends
And all of my life is full

Whispers-
Leaves rustling in maple trees
Rolling, crackling across the ground
A soft wind whispers in my ear
A gentle, prayerful sound
Caterpillars slurp on juicy leaves
If you listen you will hear
The fish that jumps in the brook
The footfalls of the deer
Sounds in the night that frighten me
Whisper comfort through the day
Like the forever rhythm of Cricket's chirp
As I sleep, and work, and play
I've heard the flutter of Butterfly's wings
And the drip of a morning dew
The early bird singing a happy tune
Wake up you sleepy Pooh
There is so much whisper in the wood
Up, down, around, and through
Like the cracking birth of Robin's eggs
It's like the birth of nature too
